Ø Government of
Karnataka declared a new Social Security Scheme: Sumangala Samajika Bhadratha
Yojane on March 8th 2011 based on the research
and recommendation made by me. The programe is first of its kind in India to
provide social protection to unmarried poor women who are over
45years age will receive financial assistance of `1000 per month.
Ø First Recipient of Outstand Civil Servants ‘ State Award-2004 by government of Karnataka in 2005.
Ø Adoption of religious custom and culture in Public Administration. Offering “thamubula” as a technique to motivate people. This “Gandhian approach“ hit the all the National and Local newspapers of that time inEnglish, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam, in 1984. A unique technique employed to instill trust among people with Government and realized record revenue dues-1979 & 1984-87.
Ø First time in Karnataka started of Gramaseva Kacheri in every hobli of Maddur Taluk to redress the grievances of farmers at their doorstep-1984. A step in decentralization in Taluka Administration 1984-87.
Ø Innovated a novel programme “Gunduthopu Rejuvenation Programme” (Development of village Forest Reserve) in Mysore & Maddur Taluk -1980& 1986.
Ø The most backward village Gollara Doddi in Maddur Taluk was initiated for main stream development 1984-87.
Ø Popularisation of creative activities among children in Mysore city during summer Holidays 1987-89.
Ø Initiated and completed renovation of Raja Gopuram of “Sree Narasimhaswamy Temple” of architectural importance in Maddur Town. (This was a long pending task in the taluk.) It was achieved through public participatory method -1984-87.
Ø State Award for Highest realization of Small Savings in Mandya District from 1984 to 1987.
Ø The First Red Cross Society Maddur to be established in Mandya District, given assistance to the affected by natural calamity and regular Health camps,
Ø Organised 3 day Akhila Karnataka Janapada Kala Mela 1986 in Maddur Taluk, attended by 1100 folk artists.

First time in the history the Soliga tribal dance “Goru
Goru Kana” was learnt and brought out of Biligirirangana Betta and performed
first ever in Delhi 1987 and Bulgaria-1988,as Secretary of the District Jawahar
Bal Bhavan,Mysore.
Ø Leader of India Delegation of Banner of peace to attend international Children’s Assembly in Sofia, Bulgaria 1988.

One of the first nine Indian trainers to visit Distance Learning
