The Diamond Field of the Areca & Cocoa Growers of the State of Karnataka and Kerala - The Central Arecanut & Cocoa Marketing & Processing Cooperative Ltd., popularly known as CAMPCO is proud to have Sri.S.R.Rangamurthy in its lead as President.
Born in the year 1959, at Punacha of Bantwal Taluk hailing from an Agricultural family, Sri.S.R.Rangamurthy has a very rich experience in the Agricultural Arena. He has been in the forefront of Agricultural and Cooperative activities for more than two decades. He has held Offices in various Cooperative Societies as Director and President. He has been the Director of CAMPCO for the past many years and has also been its President from 1/1/1997 to 30/3/2001. Sri.Rangamurthy has once again donned the mantle of President of CAMPCO from 24/12/2005 and is successfully steering CAMPCO to great heights.
He has participated in various educational activities and is at the helm of affairs of Vivekananda Vidyavardaka Sangha Puttur (R) (VVS) as its President since 2006 and as a Correspondent prior to it. VVS takes pride in having 24 Educational Institutions under its banner which include Primary & High Schools, P.U.Colleges, Polytechnic, Degree, B’ed., D’ed,, Law Colleges, M.B.A. and Engineering Colleges. He is also the Managing Trustee of Ajeya Trust®, Moorkaje and Maithreeya Gurukula which is an epicenter for ancient methods of learning.
Having a Bachelors Degree from the Vivekananda College, Puttur Sri.S.R.Rangamurthy, even during his College Curriculum was in the fore-front of all cultural and social activities and has been the President of the College Union.
Being in the Religious Field too, he is the Managing Trustee of Manchi Monthimaar Shree Durgaparameshwari Temple and the President of Mahishamardini Temple, Punacha.
Sri.Rangamurthy in all his activities is backed by a loving Family membered by a Daughter Rashksa S.R., who is pursuing her Engineering Studies; Son- Ganesh S.R. who is studying in the High School and his Wife Rashmi S.R helping and supporting him in all his endeavors.
In toto Sri.S.R.Rangamurthy is a visionary with dynamic personality and great leadership qualities.
